​My experience with Dr. Eng was highly professional. He is attentive and personable. He takes a thoughtful approach to care, keeping the patient's best interest at heart and avoiding any pressure for extra or unnecessary services. The practice environment is clean and welcoming, and the staff members are engaging, polite, and professional. It is a solid clinic that provides honest, straightforward care. I honestly don’t even know where to begin, because Dr. Eng (and Megan) completely changed my experience, and my smile. I was coming out of a really difficult situation with another provider. My Invisalign treatment had gone completely sideways, and I was completely ignored, left feeling confused, hurt, and honestly embarrassed. I didn’t understand how things had gotten so off track, and the way it was handled made me feel like I had somehow done something wrong, or like I was being blamed or even punished for it. By the end of that experience, I was left with a smile I didn’t recognize and a crooked bite, and I felt completely dismissed. After putting in so much money, time, trust, and effort, it was heartbreaking to end up there with no real support or answers. Enter Dr. Eng. From the very beginning, everything felt different. He took the time to truly listen, not just to what had happened, but to how it made me feel. For the first time, I felt seen and understood. He explained everything clearly, without judgment, and reassured me that what I was experiencing wasn’t my fault, and that it could be fixed. We had an great experience with Overlake Orthodontics and Dr. Gene Eng. We really appreciated his conservative, methodical approach to treatment and every recommendation felt thoughtful and carefully considered. The office is also well run. Appointments were consistently on time, and we never felt rushed during visits. Our dental assistant was especially kind and gentle, which made a big difference in helping us feel comfortable throughout treatment. Everyone in the office is friendly, professional, and provides great customer service. They do a great job explaining how to care for your teeth and braces along the way, and as long as you follow the instructions and keep up with cleaning and care, the process is very smooth. We would very much recommend Overlake Orthodontics to other families.

My daughter is not what you'd call a low-maintenance orthodontic patient. She popped brackets off at an impressive rate and treated rubber bands like optional accessories. And yet every single time we came back in, the staff treated her like she was a perfectly normal, non-bracket-destroying human being. That kind of grace is rare, and the whole team at Overlake Orthodontics has it in spades. Dr. Gene Eng and his team are genuinely exceptional. When we had a situation where Briar didn't wear her clear aligners for a week because we went straight from brace removal to vacation (not our finest planning moment), I called the office in a full panic. They got us in the very next day and sorted everything out without a single ounce of judgment. Just kindness and solutions. Also: hot cookies. Sometimes popsicles. My daughter will be talking about this for years. I recommend this practice to all of my friends with kids who need braces. It's not always easy to find a practice you trust for a large investment like braces, but I can wholeheartedly recommend Overlake Orthodontics. 🙌

As an adult getting their teeth aligned for the first time, I didn’t really know what what to expect, but I had an excellent experience working with Overlake Orthodontics for the past year. The team is very kind and Dr. Eng was extremely knowledgeable about the process. I highly recommend them for any dental work, and don’t be afraid of that first tray, regardless of what age you are. Best of all, my teeth look amazing now!
